Every Monday from 8:30 PM to 10:45 PM from September 9, 2024, to December 9, 2024 (except October 14, 2024) at Collège Maisonneuve (13 evenings for the Fall 2024 season).
Please note that the first two weeks of play (September 9 and 16, 2024) do not count towards the cumulative results for intermediate and advanced levels. We will adjust the pools before the evening of September 23, 2024, based on the teams' levels. The recreational level will play with teams randomly formed each evening.
To view the court layout and understand how each level operates, please consult the following link: https://www.volley-boreal.net/fr/membres
The match schedule will be available soon on the MyTeam.Click platform.

Affiliation with Volleyball Québec is mandatory. Affiliations for the 2024-2025 season are now available through the following link:
https://page.spordle.com/fr/volley-boreal/register/1ef5fc07-9bc3-610a-a2eb-0ecb3ef1a02f
Why must you affiliate? Volley Boréal is a non-profit organization, and as a sports organization, we must comply with the sports safety laws. Being part of a federation of sports organizations is one of these obligations. Since Volleyball Québec is the only volleyball federation in Quebec, we must be affiliated with it. The federation has required individual affiliations for the past 3 years. For these reasons, you are required to affiliate. For the 2024-2025 season, the affiliation fee is $11.00 and is valid until September 30 of the following year. The affiliation provides several benefits, such as injury insurance and discounts on certain services.
You must complete your affiliation before the evening of September 9, 2024, and we will monitor compliance in real-time on the SPORDLE platform.

We have set up a calendar (ACUITY) to manage attendance for game nights. Currently, only members of the recreational level are affected and were added to the system last week. You should have received an email or SMS mentioning the game nights you are registered for according to your subscription (season or annual). You will receive reminders throughout the season. We rely on your cooperation to adjust your attendance by canceling the nights you will be absent. By canceling your attendance, you free up a spot that will automatically be opened for a replacement. You can find all the details on how it works via the following link: https://www.volley-boreal.net/fr/absence.
For advanced or intermediate level teams, you need to inform your captain of any absences. The captain will need to follow the established procedure for replacements : click here

Several balls are available for Monday nights. To collect a ball, please contact the committee leaders. You will need to sign a waiver that will be sent to you by email. We rely on you to take care of the equipment and to report any issues (damage, loss, etc.). Balls should be returned to the responsible parties when required (for training activities or tournaments).
The scoreboards belong to Collège Maisonneuve. Sometimes, damage may make them difficult or impossible to use during the season. You can report this to the attendant, who will do their best to provide you with a replacement.
As for whistles, we have been distributing regular whistles during the season. It is your responsibility to bring them to game nights. At this time, we do not plan to purchase electronic or pea whistles, as they were not returned in previous seasons.
If you have any Volley Boréal equipment in your possession, please return it to us or inform us for follow-up.

A $500 contribution from Équipe Montréal has been granted to us for organizing an event. We have proposed an Open House project in collaboration with Les Ratons Chasseurs and G-Bleus. Underrepresented groups will be prioritized, and we rely on your usual support to welcome the guests. This is a great opportunity to recruit substitutes or new members, especially for intermediate and advanced teams! This event will be an addition to our regular game night: there will still be a game night for members as planned. We ask to the Advanced and Intermediate teams captain to complete the forms by clicking here to confirm the needs for this evening and to assign people from the open house list. You will receive an email with details on how the evening will proceed.

Join us after the game night on September 9, 2024, at Taverne Le Trèfle, located at 3971 Ontario East! We will be handing out coupons for a free drink! This will also be the designated spot for socializing after game nights throughout the season.
